Major "Justice League" #50 Revelations, Changes Lead Into "DC Universe: Rebirth"
Actors are lining up for Tomorrowland like visitors for a ride at Disney World. According to Variety, Britt Robertson (Under the Dome, Secret Circle) has signed on to fill the role of Casey Newton opposite George Clooney in the sci-fi action adventure from Disney.
Last month, reports indicated that Robertson and Terra Nova‘s Naomi Scott were the finalists for the role, described as a young girl with “an unconventional understanding of technology” who goes to an inventor played by Clooney for help. With that she’s “launched on a journey to reclaim her future,” an adventure that brings her in direct opposition of Hugh Laurie’s villain character.
Directed by Brad Bird from a script he wrote with Damon Lindelof and Jeff Jensen, Tomorrowland also stars Raffey Cassidy and Thomas Robinson and is scheduled for a Dec. 12, 2014 release.
