Why The Russos Are The Best Thing to Happen to the MCU Since Joss Whedon
Nolan’s latest is filming in Fort Macleod in Canada, and a local newspaper has a new report about the production. In addition to featuring a photo of Nolan alongside his leading man Matthew McConaghey, the paper has some intriguing new details about Interstellar‘s story:
“Set in the future, the movie details the toll climate change has taken on agriculture, with corn the last crop to be cultivated. The scientists embark on a journey through a worm hole into other dimensions in search of somewhere other crops can be grown.”
That’s probably not the story most people were expecting from Interstellar, but then again, Nolan is known for challenging expectations. As long as McConaughey and his all-star cast travel across the stars, they can spend as much time growing corn as they’d like.
Interstellar, co-starring Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain, hits theaters on Nov. 7, 2014.
