John Noble will reteam with co-creators Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci on Sleepy Hollow, the supernatural mystery series that premiered Monday on Fox t0 10.1 million viewers.

The actor, who played Walter Bishop on the cult drama, will have a recurring guest role as Henry Parrish, a reclusive man with supernatural powers that could potentially help Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison).

In a modern-day retelling of Washington Irving’s classic story, Ichabod Crane is resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time to find that the world is on the brink of destruction and that he is humanity’s last hope.

Sleepy Hollow airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.

I absolutely loved him in Fringe, but I have to be honest, I wasn’t impressed with the Sleepy Hollow pilot. It felt too forced and unnatural. Hopefully, John Noble can turn the show around.

Not sure how I feel about this. The premiere of “Sleepy Hollow” was really fantastic (I went in with low expectations given it was created by Kurtzman and Orci), so the last thing I want to be reminded of while watching it is something awful like “Fringe.”
