DiDio & Lee Says DC Will Take the Time to Do "Watchmen"/Rebirth Story 'Right'
In a brilliant usage of a cameo actor, the season premiere of Saturday Night Live featured Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul less than 24 hours before the finale of the AMC drama. He appeared in three sketches, all of which had something to do with meth, beginning with the cold open — an address about Obamacare — in which Jesse Pinkman attempts to tell the story of Walter White. He was seen again as Jesse in a commercial for eMeth (a meth-pipe parody of electric cigarettes), going so far to add his trademark “Bitch” at the end of his short line. Finally, he appeared during the Weekend Update segment as Meth Nephew alongside Bobby Moynihan’s Drunk Uncle character.
