‘Iron Man 3′ Actor Lands ‘Jurassic World’ Role

The young actor from Iron Man 3 and Insidious has landed a role in Universal Pictures’ fourth Jurassic Park film, Deadline reports. Details on his character are unknown, but the website calls it “a lead.”
He’s the first confirmed actor for Jurassic World, with Bryce Dallas Howard linked to a role as well. Josh Brolin and David Oyelowo are also rumored for parts in the film. Further, Deadline mentions that New Girl and Drinking Buddies actor Jake Johnson is “in the mix” for a part, but the website stops short of confirming the casting.
Safety Not Guaranteed director Colin Trevorrow is directing Jurassic World, shooting in 3D. It’s scheduled for release on June 12, 2014.
