‘Crow’ Reboot Targeting Norman Reedus?

He already battles legions of the walking dead every Sunday night. Why not add one more undead individual to the party?

Norman Reedus, breakout star of The Walking Dead, is reportedly up for a role in the new adaptation of James O’Barr’s The Crow, produced by Relativity Media and directed by F. Javier Gutiérrez. Schmoes Know reports that Reedus is the top choice to play “James,” although there are no details about the character beyond the name. Some are hoping to see the erstwhile Daryl Dixon in the role of vengeful rocker Eric Draven, but as of now, that part belongs to The Hobbit actor Luke Evans.

In addition to Reedus’ possible casting, Schmoes Know states that producers had been eyeing Twilight lead Kristen Stewart for the role of Shelley, Draven’s ill-fated lover. She is no longer in the running due to “audience concern,” according to the report.

  • Masked Man Issue 1

Kind of scary to have this kind of talk right before the mid-season finale this coming Sunday, where someone among the good guys “will fall”.

I hope that doesn’t mean it’s him (my money is actually on Hershell) and that all this timely talk will make more sense when his schedule is freed up. Losing Daryl will destroy about 40% of the appeal of the show.
