If you’re already jonesing for more of The Walking Dead after Sunday’s mid-season finale, you can start marking your calendars for the drama’s triumphant return. According to Entertainment Weekly, AMC has scheduled a Feb. 9 return date for the hit series.
While appearing on The Talking Dead, star Andrew Lincoln said the remaining eight episodes are “the boldest, bravest and most exciting this show has ever attempted.”
Executive Producer Robert Kirkman appeared on the same episode and got into more detail about what’s coming, some of which might be venturing into SPOILER territory, especially if you’re not caught up on this season.
“Not only have these people lost Hershel, they lost the prison, but they also lost each other,” he said. “They’re out on their own, they’re in different groups. There’s going to be a lot going on with these different people as they try to survive in the next half of the season.”
