NBC’s ‘Hannibal’ Returns in February

Hannibal - Season 1

NBC is ready to serve up another heaping helping of Hannibal, announcing that the second season the Bryan Fuller thriller series will debut Friday, Feb. 28 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. It will take the place of Dracula, which wraps up its 10-episode run.

Based on character created by author Thomas Harris, the series stars Hugh Dancy as Will Graham, Mads Mikkelsen as Hannibal Lecter and Laurence Fishburne as Jack Crawford.

“After a horrifying descent into madness in Season 1, this image ironically represents the perspective of a scrappier, clearer-minded Will Graham in Season 2,” Fuller said in October. “The scales have fallen from his eyes and he finally sees Hannibal Lecter for the monster he is.”

NBC also released a poster featuring Dancy in one of the iconic Hannibal Lecter face mask:

This show is so gory. I don’t understand how you could show so much dark imagery on tv but showing some tits is crossing the line.
