Luke Cage History: From Hero for Hire to Hollywood
TV, Comic Books
Spider-Man was virtually unavoidable this week as he made the rounds to promote his role in the Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration, which in turn was part of the promotional push for director Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
During Tuesday night’s telecast, Sony debuted a clip of the film — introduced by Stan Lee himself — that teases a big Times Square brawl between Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man and Jamie Foxx’s Electro. It also provides another look at Paul Giamatti’s armored Rhino.
Opening May 2, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 also stars Emma Stone, Dane DeHaan, Chris Cooper and Sally Field.
