‘X-Men’ Script Leak Teases Colossus’ Role

Hugh Jackman recently declared that X-Men: Days of Future Past is the most expensive Fox film this side of Avatar. It’s easy to see why, just by looking at the sheer size of the cast, which includes nearly every major player from the X-Men films — in some cases, multiple generations of the same character.

There are some characters we haven’t seen or heard much about yet, mostly where the future portion of Days of Future Past is concerned. Colossus is one such character; we know Daniel Cudmore is back as the steel-skinned mutant, but not in what capacity. Warning: Potential major spoilers follow!

Well, perhaps that’s changed, thanks to an alleged Days of Future Past script excerpt posted by Think McFly Think (and reposted by

A sign that Colossus’ battle against the Sentinels won’t work out in his favor? Or is there more to the tale? We’ll find out when director Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past arrives on May 23.

    great, kill colossus. bastards.

  • Soup Owens-Fowler

You can kill of anyone in the future, it doesn’t matter because the past version would still be alive.

  • Caz

I don’t think you’re quite understanding the point here… There isn’t a past version of Colossus in the movie, just the future one.

  • Ryan

  • Joseph Aldaco

Guess singer read Battle of the Atom instead of Days of future past.

  • KilowogTrout

Do you know about Days of Future Past, what this movie is based on? If not, your anger is probably kinda misplaced.

  • Shizzle My Nizzle

pretty sure YOU aren’t getting the point. we know colossus exists in the past(X3 and prior since he didn’t just magically come into existence in that movie). they can and likely will kill everyone/anyone in the future and it won’t matter. IT’S THE FUTURE.

  • Piotr

Have you read the comic book Days of Future Past? Pretty much everyone dies. And Colossus is killed by a sentinel, so what’s the problem?

  • Mike McTighe

If in the movie they *fix* the past, then technically by the end he won’t be dead.

  • Mike McTighe

Colossus dies pretty quickly in Days too.

  • Joseph Aldaco

i forgot colossus was in days of future past.

  • alistaircrane

Actually, it’s the present. McAvoy, Fassbender, Lawrence, etc. travel from 1973 to 2013.

  • Moriba Forde

Actually no it’s the fututure, in the past its 10 years after First Class, in the future it’s 10 years after the last stand, so the time settings are 1973 and 2016, also the only person in the movie who’s doing any time travel is Wolverine, the cast from the past shall remain in the past.

  • Piotr

The two Xaviers meet each other briefly also.

  • Christopher Douglas

Just like comic fans aren’t surprised by Gwen’s death in Amazing Spidey 2.

  • Aaron Picasso

Listen you fan boys it’s the future. Wolverine has to get sent back because it’s a war they can’t win. Remember the classic days of future past cover with all the dead xmen

  • Scarilian

    You are all being stupid.

no one travels back into the past or into the future – one of the female mutants from the first movie (Forget the name – think she was called ‘kitty’) uses her powers to essentially mind meld sending wolverine’s consciousness into his older body.
Later on she does this with Professor X enabling his future self to converse with his younger self in a sort of mental projection.

    no one time travels.

  • matthew wright

you are clearly wrong! he is the LAST x man standing in the comic. after wolverine and storm are killed. he is killed but goes down fighting! he deserves to shine in this film! (no pun intended)

  • Tophman

Hmmm, no one seems to have noticed the “Sentinel transforms, its long arms turn into steel” bit. Um, Singer…. Sentinels are already metal… duh!

You are obviously incredibly stupid – or maybe you are just blind. Either way – the quotes from the people talking about time travel are below. Feel free to read them in your own time you FUCKING MORON!

“The only person in the movie who’s doing any time travel is Wolverine, the cast from the past shall remain in the past.” – Moriba Forde stating that Wolverine time travels.

“The two Xaviers meet each other briefly also” – Piotr – Agreeing with Moriba and talking about the possibility of the two Xaviers meeting up – via time travel.
