Vaughan & Chiang's "Paper Girls" Builds a Familiar Yet Disconcerting World
Summit Entertainment has released the final theatrical trailer for Divergent, director Neil Burger’s adaptation of the popular young-adult sci-fi novel by Veronica Roth.
Set in a dystopian post-apocalyptic version of Chicago where people are divided into five factions based on their personalities, the film stars Shailene Woodley as Beatrice “Tris” Prior, a teenager who’s warned that she’s Divergent, meaning she doesn’t belong to any one group. Soon she discovers a plot to destroy all Divergents, and must discover what makes her kind so dangerous — before it’s too late.
Opening March 21, Divergent also stars Theo James, Zoë Kravitz, Ansel Elgort, Maggie Q, Jai Courtney, Miles Teller and Kate Winslet.
