First ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Set Photos Emerge

In a little more than a year, writer/director Joss Whedon’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron, will be on its way into theaters. By then, we’ll have surely seen trailers and marketing featuring full-blown looks at Ultron, Vision, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and more. But for now, we’ll take whatever we can get from the set.

Case in point: the first set images from the Marvel sequel have emerged, featuring nothing more than some overturned cars and other assorted forms of city carnage. The photos come from the film’s current shoot in Johannesburg, South Africa, believed by some to be doubling as Wakanda, the fictional kingdom ruled by the Black Panther T’Challa. Those rumors remain unconfirmed.

It’s also rumored that the photos seen today involve the Hulk in some fashion (a second can be viewed at ComicBookMovie). Again, there’s no confirmation, and nothing to go on other than the overturned vehicles — but that certainly seems to be the M.O. of Bruce Banner’s mean, green alter ego.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron is just wading into the waters of production, with a May 1, 2015 release date on the not-so-distant horizon. Expect more and more set photos to emerge in the weeks to come; this is only the beginning.

Wow! It’s a car! This movie is going to be sooooo ~

  • demoncat_4

that tipped over car could mean any thing like iron man and thor having a battle not nessarily the hulk being busy. and hope the rumors of black panther in this are true

  • bibbinsthebaggins

i hope the rumors of black panther being this are not true. that son of a bitch isn’t needed

  • william parcell

No the rumors are just rumors. If Panther was going to be in this film we would have heard it announced by now.

  • demoncat_4

unless they want to keep black panther finaly showing up in the marvel film verse as a surprise and they are using age of ultron to set up his long over due solo film.

I’m reading that now. It’s very good.

So people are upset that black panther might be in the avengers, even though he’s an actual avenger and a original black character, and yet when the possibility of them changing johnny storm to black comes up, the excuse gets tossed that they need to use original black panthers. And this is why the comic audience is the way it is and completely different that much more diverse movie audience.

No special effects needed. That’s what that place looks like anyway. Saves a ton of money on effects.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do justice to the great “Vision” !!! He is a seminal superhero and I hope he gets the fantastic treatment he deserves. He is such a wonderful character. I bet you can do it Joss Whedon. Thanks.
