Guggenheim Says Ward Switching Sides Leads "Agents of SHIELD" into "Civil War II"
With The Amazing Spider-Man 2 just a few months away from release, fans are hotly anticipating director Marc Webb’s sequel. To keep that excitement building, Sony released a pair of new featurettes to show off just a bit more of the film.
Stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Sally Field appear in the above clip titled “The Price of Being a Hero” along with Webb to talk about whether Peter Parker can have his own life while also being a superhero and facing off against bad guys like Electro (Jaime Foxx) and the Rhino (Paul Giamatti). Meanwhile, the second clip, called “Lights, Camera, Action!,” features more behind-the-scenes looks at how they put some of those scenes together.
Here’s the official synopsis:
In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 opens on May 2.
