First Full ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’ Trailer Arrives: ‘We Don’t Need You Anymore’

tfageofextinction

Following a 30-second Super Bowl promo released last month — which featured a peek at the film’s highly anticipated addition of Dinobots — the first full Transformers: Age of Extinction trailer arrived on Tuesday. Along with showcasing new series star Mark Wahlberg, the clip establishes that things are bleak for the Autobots; first stating “the Age of the Transformers is over,” before Stanley Tucci’s character says “We don’t need you anymore.”

Directed by Michael Bay in his fourth installment in the franchise, Transformers: Age of Extinction is scheduled for release on June 27, and also stars Nicola Peltz, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing, Kelsey Grammer, the return of Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime and plenty more Transformers.

    Uh, okay.

Who is spending their money on this garbage franchise? God, Michael Bay is literally the worst. Nothing in this trailer made me want to go to the movies. Not getting me this time. I’ll pass.

  • EVH

    that looks badaas!!

No, Just no since this Micheal Bay it’s going to suck just the the other ones. Besides this is Micheal Bay the movie isn’t going the be about the Transformers, its going to be about the new human characters instead.

  • The Bechtloff

Wow, I gotta admit that actually looks pretty cool.

  • The Griffinator

All of them LOOKED pretty cool. LOOKING cool was never this franchise’s problem. ;)

  • The Griffinator

That was literally the greatest misuse of the word ‘literally’ (until now)

  • The Griffinator

Is that Grimlock at the end?

  • Chendrix1969

Fooled me once, shame on you.
Fooled me twice, shame on me.
Fooled me three times … ok, now you just stuck on stupid.
I will not be fooled a fourth time.

After watching that Godzilla trailer every movie afterwards is obsolete to me for the rest of the year. LOL.

  • Hypestyles

how many years after part 3 does this take place?

  • TransFan

That is a possibility but Grimlock’s alt-mode doesn’t have, horns and he’s not the only Cybertron with a T-Rex alt-mode. Megatron from Beast Wars also has a T-Rex alt-mode (again, no horns) before it changed into a dragon after being dumped into a lava pit. Then again the two headed dragon earlier in the trailer is also Megatron but from the Robots in Disguise continuum. That’s a lot of Megatrons for one film but that leads me to believe that the antagonists are the Predacons. Which opens up another can of worms in regards to the Predacon story line because each continuum with Predacons differ from each other, and there’s hardly any uniformity between them.

looks more like a dragon than a dinosaur.

i look forward to waiting until this is available through netflix so that i can shamefully watch it drunk at home in my underwear. i’ll be skipping the theater release.

Agreed. If Michael Bay directed Citizen Kane, people would say Citizen Kane sucks. I’m gonna see this movie. More than once.
