X-POSITION: Phoenix, Upstarts & More Tear Up Bowers & Sims' "X-Men '92"
For his next act, The Wolf of Wall Street himself, Leonardo DiCaprio, will seek refuge through Safe House director Daniel Espinosa.
Deadline reports Espinosa has been hired to helm Blood on Snow, a Warner Bros. thriller produced by and starring DiCaprio as a hit man who tries and fails to assassinate his mob boss’ wife. Instead, he falls in love with the woman, and the two go on the run from the remaining mob forces.
It’s based on a novel written by Jo Nesbo (under the pseudonym Tom Johansson), but the film adaptation has yet to land a writer. Espinosa, DiCaprio, Appian Way and Warner Bros. are now looking to fill that open screenwriter role.
