Sam Fisher, it’s time to meet the man in charge of your first big-screen operation.
The Hollywood Reporter has the news that Splinter Cell, New Regency’s adaptation of the Ubisoft video game series, has found its director: The Bourne Legacy filmmaker Doug Liman is in final negotiations to helm the project. He’ll take the wheel on the story of seasoned spy Sam Fisher, played by Tom Hardy.
Production is expected to begin in August, with a release planned for some point in the already jam-packed 2015 movie season.
