Standalone "The Walking Dead" Special to Air in Season 6, Feature New "Fear" Character
Archer creator Adam Reed flipped the script with the fifth season of FX’s animated comedy, turning the cast from a group of super-spies into a gang of drug dealers. However, he promises the upcoming sixth season will return everything to normal — well, “normal.”
“I think this next season we will sort of unreboot, or whatever — deboot and get back to the basics of some spy missions,”Reed told EW.com. However, he did say some threads will carry over.
“Lana’s going to have a baby, so I see some funny things with getting her co-workers to babysit,” Reed said. “I wrote this down the other day: ‘Somebody walks in on Pam [Poovey, ISIS human resources director] chewing up Vienna sausages and then spitting them into the baby’s mouth like a gorilla.’ They’re like, ‘What are you doing?’ And she’s like, ‘This is how I always do it!'”
Archer airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
