‘Prometheus 2′ Gets Writer, More Fassbender

The Prometheus sequel has a fever, and the only cure is more Fassbender.

Michael Fassbender’s David-8 android is expected to feature prominently in the follow-up to Ridley Scott’s 2012 sci-fi epic. According to TheWrap, the film will feature “multiple ‘David’ androids, which means there will be more than one Michael Fassbender on screen at the same time.”

Furthermore, Prometheus 2 now has a new writer: Green Lantern veteran Michael Green, who’s taking the reins from original Prometheus scribe Damon Lindelof.

Directed by Scott, the untitled Prometheus sequel is expected to land in March 2016.

Hopefully, the characters will behave more intelligently this time, perhaps even resembling actual scientists. I know, I’m expecting too much. Well, I’d settle for a modicum of common sense.
