SPIDER-MANDATE: The Lowe-down on "Secret Wars," Tie-Ins and Stacey Lee
Robert Rodriguez’s From Dusk Till Dawn has made the leap from film to television. With season one under way at the filmmaker’s El Rey Network, word has come down that 13-episode second season is on the way.
“This is a truly unique property and one that has really resonated for viewers,” Rodriguez said in a statement. “It has been a joy to bring these characters back to life and have the opportunity to take our storytelling to a whole new place. We look forward to going back into production later this year and are excited about raising the bar even higher in season two.”
Based on the film of the same name, From Dusk Till Dawn focuses on a pair of criminal brothers (played by D.J. Cotrona and Zane Holtz) on a collision course with a vampire-filled strip club south of the border. The first season airs on El Rey Network in the United States, and streams internationally on Netflix. The second season will follow that model.
