Why The Russos Are The Best Thing to Happen to the MCU Since Joss Whedon
Ray Winstone, fresh off his villain turn in Noah, has a new flood to look forward to: the tidal wave of a remake known as Point Break.
Variety reports Winstone is set to surf into director Ericson Core’s remake of the classic action movie, as the partner of undercover FBI agent Johnny Utah. Gary Busey played the role in the original Point Break, and while there’s no way to ever adequately replace Busey, Winstone’s heavy presence certainly helps fill the void.
The Point Break remake stars Gerard Butler in the Patrick Swayze role, with relative unknown Luke Bracey on board as Johnny Utah. There’s no release date set yet.
