Soule Finds a Weakness in the Afterlife, Discusses Surprise "Inhuman" Return
With David Fincher no longer in the mix, Sony Pictures is in search of a new filmmaker to take on Jobs, the upcoming biopic about Apple legend Steve Jobs.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony is in talks with Slumdog Millionaire filmmaker Danny Boyle to direct Jobs, which was written by The Social Network scribe Aaron Sorkin. Further, Boyle has reportedly approached Leonardo DiCaprio to star in the film. If the two agree to make the movie, Boyle and DiCaprio would be reuniting for the first time since 2000’s The Beach.
Fincher was originally in the running to direct Jobs, with Oscar winner Christian Bale rumored to be his frontrunner to play the computer and technology visionary.
