Is This the Title of ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’?

With the long-awaited announcement last week of most of the main cast of Star Wars: Episode VII, the next big question of the minds of many fans is what the film will be called.

Considering how long director J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm drew out that last bit of big news, it’ll likely be a while before we hear anything official, but Harry Knowles at Ain’t It Cool News reports he’s been told at least the working title: The Ancient Threat.

That doesn’t grab you like, say, The Empire Strikes Back or Revenge of the Sith did. It’s more on par with The Phantom Menace, which always sounded like a working title that nobody got around to changing.

Whatever it ends up being called, Star Wars: Episode VII opens Dec. 18, 2015.
