Axel-In-Charge: Extending "Secret Wars," Excitement for a "Totally Awesome Hulk"
TNT has greenlit two new series: the 1960s-set police drama Public Morals and the supernatural drama Proof.
Created by and starring Edward Burns, Public Morals shines a light on New York City’s Public Morals Division officer Terry Muldoon (Burns), who’s trying to balance the darkness of his job with his attempts to raise good young men along with his wife (Elizabeth Masucci).
The 10-episode first season will premiere in 2015.
Executive produced by Kyra Sedgwick, Proof stars Jennifer Beals as Dr. Carolyn Tyler, an accomplished surgeon with a rough personal life hired by a millionaire with cancer (Matthew Modine) to go around the world in search of evidence of the afterlife.
Like Public Morals, Proof‘s 10-episode first season will premiere next year.
