Courtesy of USA Today arrives new images from director Michael Bay’s Transformers: Age of Extinction, including a look at the updated Optimus Prime, complete with power sword.

“The sword is emblematic of what we’ve done to Optimus Prime as a whole,” producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura tells the newspaper. “He’s been upgraded with more abilities.”

Bumblebee also gets a new look, but the additions don’t stop there: The fourth installment of the Paramount Pictures franchise also sees the introduction of the Dinobots, as well as new Autobots like Hound and Drift, voiced by John Goodman and Ken Watanabe, respectively.

Opening June 27, Transformers: Age of Extinction stars Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Raynor and T.J. Miller.

You see, the Dinobots were believed to be dragons, that’s why they have all that Dragon stuff going on in China. You can tell t hat’s what they are doing. They did it in the other Transformer films. Oh man, I just admitted I watched the other Transformer movies. I’ve lost my street cred. :)

Prime’s head now looks like a knight’s helmet. Don’t know if I can flow with that.
And what is up with Bumblebee and the ninja stars sticking out from his back? WTF?
