Josh Brolin Reunites With Coen Brothers For ‘Hail, Caesar!’

After squaring off against the horrific Anton Chigurh in No Country For Old Men and the incomprehensible Rooster Cogburn in True Grit, Josh Brolin is gearing up for another Coen brothers reunion.

TheWrap reports Brolin has been cast in Hail, Caesar!, the upcoming comedy directed by Joel and Ethan Coen. It’s Brolin’s third film with the Oscar-winning siblings. George Clooney is also on board the film; like Brolin, he’s a Coen veteran, having starred in O Brother, Where Art Thou? and Burn After Reading.

Set in the 1950s, Hail, Caesar!  follows the story of “Eddie Mannix, a Hollywood fixer who works for the studios to protect their movie stars (and their squeaky-clean reputations) from gossip rags and jealous rivals eager to expose salacious scandals.”
