Between FX’s The Strain and A&E’s Bates Motel and upcoming adaptation of The Returned, Lost veteran Carlton Cuse has a lot on his plate. However, he’s about to add one more project.

Deadline reports Amazon Studios is finalizing a pilot order for Point of Honor, a Civil War drama from Cuse and Secretariat director Randall Wallace.

Co-produced by Amazon Studios and ABC Studios’ ABC Signature, Point of Honor centers on a fictional family from Lynchburg, Virginia, whose life is fractured by the start of the Civil War. The project is envisioned as a major event series, with Cuse and Wallace co-writing, and the latter set to direct.
