Soule Finds a Weakness in the Afterlife, Discusses Surprise "Inhuman" Return
“The series follows eight characters around the world who, in the aftermath of a tragic death, find themselves linked to each other mentally and emotionally,” Straczynski told Deadline. “They can not only see and talk to each other as though they were in the same place, they have access to each other’s deepest secrets. Not only must they figure out what happened and why and what it means for the future of humanity, they must do so while being hunted by an organization out to capture, kill or vivisect them.”
According to Deadline, the eight linked characters are played by Brian J. Smith (SGU Stargate Universe, Gossip Girl), Tuppence Middleton (the upcoming Jupiter Ascending, A Long Way Down), Aml Ameen (The Maze Runner, Lee Daniels’ The Butler), Doona Bae (Cloud Atlas, Jupiter Ascending), Miguel Silvestre (Velvet), Tena Desae (The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel), Max Riemelt (Amnesia) and Jamie Clayton (Dirty Work, Hung). They’ll be joined by Daryl Hannah (Splash, Kill Bill, Blade Runner), Naveen Andrews (Lost, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland), Freema Agyeman (Doctor Who, Torchwood), Mexican actors Alfonso Herrera and Erendira Ibarra, and Terrence Mann (The Dresden Files, Big Top Pee-wee). Production will occur around the world in Chicago, San Francisco, London, Iceland, Seoul, Mumbai, Berlin, Mexico City and Nairobi.
Netflix gave a 10-episode season order to the sci-fi thriller back in March. The series will debut on the streaming service in 2014.
