SDCC | Kevin Smith Debuts ‘Tusk’ Trailer

At Comic-Con International 2013, Kevin Smith announced that he would write and direct a horror movie inspired by a bizarre ad seeking someone to dress as a walrus for two hours a day in exchange for lodging. Nearly a year later, the filmmaker returned to the convention to debut the trailer for the horror-comedy Tusk, which stars Michael Parks as a walrus-obsessed recluse who lures a podcaster Justin Long to record his stories about life on the sea.

The film, which opens Sept. 19, also stars Johnny Depp, Haley Joel Osment and Genesis Rodriguez.
