Watch Michael Keaton and Emma Stone in International Trailer For ‘Birdman’

Fox Searchlight has premiered the international trailer for director Alejandro Gonzalez Innaritu’s Birdman, a black comedy about a washed-up — and seemingly delusional — actor (Michael Keaton), best known for his iconic role as a superhero, who struggles to mount a comeback on Broadway.

While the trailer certainly looks promising, it’s the cast that really impresses: Keaton is joined by Zach Galifianakis, Edward Norton, Andrea Riseborough, Amy Ryan, Emma Stone and Naomi Watts.

Birdman opens Oct. 17.

Dear Emma Stone, when you died, the Spider-Man reboot died with you. So I’ll go see you in this. Thank you.

This looks good! Love Edward Norton. I haven’t seen Michael Keaton in a long time, i is amazing how age changes your looks.

Seems to me that the producers of this film might get sued by Warner, who own the name Birdman (the Hanna-Barbera superhero)
