New ‘Terminator’ Film is Called ‘Terminator: Genisys’ (That’s Not a Typo)

arnold schwarzenegger transformer genisys Arnold Schwarzenegger took to Instagram to drop three big pieces of information about the new Terminator film.

First, as you can see in the photo, is the creatively spelled title — Terminator: Genisys (formerly Genesis). Second, according to the accompanying message, is that it sounds as if Schwarzenegger’s portion of filming is over. Finally, the actor noted  the movie will hit theaters on July 1, 2015.

“Hasta la vista, baby,” he wrote. “I want to thank the cast and crew of @TerminatorGenisys for a fantastic shoot. It was challenging, it was fun, and it was rewarding.”

The first in a planned trilogy, Terminator: Genisys also stars Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, Matt Smith, Jai Courtney, Lee Byung-hun and J.K. Simmons. The film is helmed by Thor: The Dark World director Alan Taylor.
