REVIEW: "DC Universe: Rebirth" #1 Makes the Future of DC Comics Look Genuinely Bright
Jennifer Lawrence might saddle up for Quentin Tarantino’s next western, The Hateful Eight. Collider reports rumors the Oscar winner is high on a short list for an unnamed character.
When the script went through a live read Kurt Russell and Samuel L. Jackson played rival bounty hunters who get stuck in a Wyoming saloon as a blizzard rolls in. Walton Goggins played an AWOL Confederate soldier while Amber Tamblyn portrayed a convicted criminal. All are expected to return for the film along with Bruce Dern and Michael Madsen.
At this point, Lawrence’s schedule might be the largest hurdle, as Hateful is expected to start shooting early next year. The actress is mostly done with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, although reshoots and pick-ups might still be scheduled. She’s also starring in David O. Russell’s (Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle) next project Joy, which is slated for a Dec. 25, 2015, release.
Tarantino’s next film has not yet been scheduled, but the poster says it will be out in 2015.
