‘Godzilla: Resurgence’s’ King of the Monsters May Be Crazier Than We Thought

If these new photos are any indication, the teaser poster for Toho’s “Godzilla: Resurgence” may not have accurately conveyed just how scary the updated King of the Monsters will be.

Somewhat-nightmarish images circulated over the weekend by Toho fan groups and on Twitter reveal what appears to be the “hybrid” suit that will be employed in the first Japanese Godzilla movie in more than a decade.

Co-directed by Hideaki Anno (“Neon Genesis Evangelion”) and Shinji Higuchi (“Attack on Titan”), “Godzilla: Resurgence” is expected to feature the tallest Godzilla yet, towering over the 108-meter creature depicted in Gareth Edwards’ 2014 U.S. film.

“Godzilla: Resurgence” will open in Japan this summer, and then make its way to North American shores later in the year.

Its a crazy theory, but I’m wondering if this is the original that was mostly disintegrated in 1954. A chick on twitter pointed out that this Godzilla appears to be in the process of regenerating, as you can see exposed muscle/tissue.

I think that theory could be dead on, explains the title and also the look of the creature. Plus how creepy is a zombie godzilla. Add to that the fact that it kinda looks like the original G.

Lets hope this new Godzilla looks truer too the original Godzilla, and not these Tyranosaurus look alikes! be super cool if this movie would make as much money as Star Wars The Force Awakens!

Excuse me but… is this Godzilla half-digested?

its been confirmed that this Godzilla is healing from something, possibly something nuclear given the myths of the franchise.
