JungleSocial

If you were looking for a long look at Disney’s incoming live action take on “The Jungle Book” during the Super Bowl broadcast, you didn’t see much beyond Bill Murray’s mugging for the camera as the voice of Baloo. But the studio did just drop a much longer, more action-packed look at director Jon Favreau’s take on the classic Rudyard Kipling tale.

The trailer is the first extended look we have at many of the classic animal characters being voiced by the likes of Ben Kingsley, Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong’o, Scarlet Johansson, Christopher Walken and Murray. Check it out below.

The new look also confirms that the movie will be taking its cues from the original Disney animated version.

“The Jungle Book” stars newcomer Neel Sethi as Mowgli and opens on April 15 in 3D.

Seems not as interesting to me now.

Yeah the talking animals look terrible. The overly realistic look mixed with talking animals just does not work.

They look pretty good actually. The CGI on them is great and very realistic and the mouth movements in them talking is in the right line between human mouth movement and animal mouth movement.

Looks terrible. The voices don’t match.
