"Justice League": Exploring How Superman Returns (Again)
Comic Books, Film
Gary Busey will try to weather the deadly storm in “Sharknado 4,” the next installment in the over-the-top disaster franchise from Syfy and The Asylum.
Ian Ziering and Tara Reid will reprise their roles as Fin Shepard and April Wexler (whose fate has been decided by fans), joined once again by David Hasselhoff as Gil Shepard and Ryan Newman as Claudia Shepard.
Busey will play April’s father Wilford Wexler, a scientist at Astro-X who’s at the forefront of advances in the field of robotics … which should be believable enough.
Other additions include Tommy Davidson (“Black Dynamite,” “In Living Color”) as playboy tech billionaire Aston Reynolds, CEO of Astro-X; Cody Linley (“Hannah Montana,” “Melissa & Joey”) as Matt, Fin and April’s eldest son who, after surviving the first Sharknado, finished high school and joined the Army; Imani Hakim (“Everybody Hates Chris”) as Gabrielle, Matt’s best friend and a fellow soldier; Masiela Lusha (“George Lopez”) as Gemini, Fin’s resourcesful cousin; and Cheryl Tiegs (“The Apprentice”) as Raye, Fin’s mother and Col. Gil Shepard’s ex-wife.
Anthony C. Ferrante returns to direct “Sharknado 4,” which will premiere in July.
