UPDATE: "The Flash" Hasn't Cast Savitar, Says Berlanti
TV, Comic Books
HBO has unveiled another glimpse into the upcoming sixth season of “Game of Thrones” with this video focusing on the prosthetics — primarily, those for the White Walkers and wights, with some Stone Men and giants thrown in for good measure.
If you’re looking for clues to the new season, you may find a few in this video: There’s a shot of sizeable army of White Walkers and wights, as well as glimpses of the Night’s King and some of his forces at a weirwood (presumably the current abode of Bran and the Three-Eyed Raven).
“I don’t think I’ve ever worked on a project that has such a varied amount of prosthetics,” says Barrie Gower, the drama’s prosthetic designer. “You have such a variety of things to make that it’s very rare that you’d be on a project that you’ll be decapitating somebody the one week and then you’ll be doing a full-body prosthetic the next week.”
“Game of Thrones” returns Sunday, April 24, on HBO.
