DC Entertainment has released a teaser for DC Nation, its Cartoon Network programming block that will house Young Justice, Green Lantern: The Animated Series and, later, Beware the Batman, as well as a host of animated shorts and live-action interstitials.

Sebastian Spence, who starred in First Wave and appeared in episodes of Battlestar Galactica, will play inventor-turned-superhero Ted Kord in the Geoff Johns-penned episode “Booster.” He joins Eric Martsolf as Booster Gold and Jaren Brandt Bartlett as Jaime Reyes.

Now that the whole thing has been seen at Comic-Con International, the complete live-action test footage for DC’s Blue Beetle has made its way online.

Geoff Johns revealed this morning that DC Entertainment is hoping to develop a live-action series starring Jaime Reyes — the Blue Beetle. What’s more, there’s already live-action test footage of Jaime’s scarab activating the power suit.
