In anticipation of the Venture Bros. Halloween special and upcoming fifth season, creators Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer brought new footage to their New York Comic Con panel.
During a recent press day for CBS’s Rules of Engagement, which starts being syndicated on Sept. 10, Spinoff Online caught up with Patrick Warburton to talk about the long-anticipated return of The Venture Bros.
Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer, the masterminds behind Adult Swim’s The Venture Bros., gave fans at Comic-Con International a sneak peek at the fifth season of the animated series, and answered questions about inspiration and creating a “bad-ass” gay character.
At New York Comic Con, The Venture Bros. co-creators Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer discussed the fifth season, their Liam Neeson movie pitch, Publick’s secret addiction to Entourage, and Hammer’s desire to write “the greatest Doctor Strange movie ever made.”
Jackson Publick, Doc Hammer and James Urbaniak premiered the official Shallow Gravy music video for “Jacket,” and took questions from fans at The Venture Bros. presentation at Comic-Con International.
The Venture Bros. creator Jackson Publick announced he’s struck a deal with Adult Swim for two more seasons of the animated series, including a long-form special. What’s more, he and Doc Hammer have officially begun work on Season 5.
