Dredd director Pete Travis is reportedly being kept out of the now-shot film’s editing process, with writer Alex Garland handling those duties and possibly getting himself a co-director credit. Updated with a statement from Travis and Garland.
The 300 and Game of Thrones actress has reportedly joined the cast of the upcoming Judge Dredd movie as the lead villain.
The United States distribution rights for the Karl Urban-starring Judge Dredd adaptation has landed at Lionsgate, as have the rights for Jason Statham’s Safe and Dwayne Johnson’s Protection.
Director Pete Travis’ forthcoming cinematic revival of the Judge Dredd franchise, has already made money without shooting a single scene — all thanks to pre-sales at the Toronto International Film Festival.
