A new report suggests Isaiah Mustafa, Brian Patrick Wade and Dave Batista are in the running to play Drax the Destroyer in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and adds The Office star John Krasinski to the list for the role of Star-Lord.
Isaiah Mustafa makes his case for a future Luke Cage role with a short “trailer” showing off the former Old Spice pitchman as Marvel’s premier Hero for Hire.
The “Old Spice guy,” who launched a campaign to play the superhero in the long-discussed film adaptation, says he’s met with studio executives, who “have something in mind” for the character.
