Teasing a few details about ABC’s newly greenlit S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot, Joss Whedon stressed that the planned series will be largely “autonomous” from the storylines of Marvel’s blockbuster Avengers and its upcoming sequel.
Ending speculation about a live-action Marvel television series, ABC has greenlit a S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot co-written, and possibly directed, by Joss Whedon. He will co-writer with brother Jed Whedon and Jed’s wife Maurissa Tancharoen (both Dollhouse collaborators), who will serve as showrunners.
In addition to six new series’, Felicia Day’s Geek and Sundry YouTube channel includes a brand new The Guild music video called “I’m The One That’s Cool.”
