Paramount Pictures has reportedly scrapped the simpler Ninja Turtles title for the Michael Bay-produced franchise reboot in favor of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Danny Woodburn of Seinfeld and Bones fame has signed on to play Master Splinter in Paramount Pictures’ Ninja Turtles, produced by Michael Bay and directed by Jonathan Liebesman.

Paramount Pictures has changed the title of the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot to simply Ninja Turtles, producer Michael Bay has confirmed: “”The characters you all remember are exactly the same, and yes they still act like teenagers. Everything you remember, why you liked the characters, is in the movie.”
The director came to Comic-Con International with plenty of news in tow, including updates on sequels to Sin City and Machete, and announcement of a Heavy Metal and the creation of a Frank Frazetta art gallery in Texas.
