Rock of Ages, director Adam Shankman’s drab adaptation of the Broadway musical, drifts aimlessly between plot points, piling one rock song on top of the next to keep audiences entertained.
The first trailer has debuted for Rock of Ages, the Adam Shankman-directed musical whose all-star cast includes Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Russell Brand, Bryan Cranston, Paul Giamatti and Mary J. Blige.
With Henry Cavill now cast as Superman, speculation has turned to who might play Lois Lane in director Zack Snyder’s franchise reboot. Five names have already emerged as contenders for the role of the Daily Planet’s star reporter and the Man of Steel’s love interest.
