Marvel Entertainment’s Jeph Loeb reveals the studio will follow the release of Iron Man: Rise of Technovore with an animated direct-to-DVD movie featuring Black Widow and the Punisher.
The Avengers director Joss Whedon says he’s unsure about returning to helm the sequel to Marvel’s $1-billion blockbuster, admitting, “It’s an enormous amount of work telling what is ultimately somebody else’s story.”
A new still has been released of Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans in The Avengers even as potential concept art emerges of the team’s trademark Quinjet.
So, we’re potentially just days away from news on how Warner Bros. plans to exploit DC Comics for all its worth, with a fuller version of those plans – or, at least, a spreadsheet – to follow next month. But I have to ask: Am I the only person who wonders if it’s too little, too late, to actually succeed?
