Warner Bros. has hired Wrath of the Titans screenwriter Dan Mazeau to adapt Tite Kubo’s hit manga Bleach as a live-action film, with Peter Segal producing.
The actor, who played the time-traveling Hiro Nakamura, is collaborating with Alex Sabeti on a script about agents dispatched to a parallel universe to prevent events from happening.
Heroes star Masi Oka, who traveled through space and time as Hiro Nakamura, makes the leap to the coroner’s office for his recurring role as Max Bergman in the remake of Hawaii Five-0. The series debuts tonight at 10 EST/PST on CBS.
