Disney XD has renewed Ultimate Spider-Man for a second season, teasing appearances by more Marvel heroes and villains and an exploration of the origins of Nova, Iron Fist, Power Man and White Tiger. Updated with press release and images.

There’s been a lot of anticipation surrounding Marvel TV’s upcoming Ultimate Spider-Man animated series, with comics and animation vets Paul Dini and Man of Action running the show. According to Dini, that excitement will pay off with the show itself.
Tower Prep, Paul Dini’s live-action drama about a mysterious academy for teens with special abilities, will premiere Tuesday, Oct. 19 on Cartoon Network.
