Fox has hired Cloverfield and Let Me In director Matt Reeves to replace Rupert Wyatt on Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, the sequel to the 2011 hit Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
Following the departure of director Rupert Wyatt from the sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Matt Reeves (Cloverfield reportedly leads a Fox shortlist of potential replacements that includes Guillermo del Toro, Rian Johnson and Juan Carlos Fresnadillo.
