Nathan Fillion, Jewel Staite and Sean Maher met a packed auditorium at New York Comic Con to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Joss Whedon’s space Western Firefly, promote the Science Channel reunion … and hint at the show’s future.
The Science Channel will screen footage from Firefly 10th Anniversary Browcoats Unite Oct. 13 at New York Comic Con ahead of its Nov. 11 television premiere.
The Science Channel will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Firefly with a panel at Comic-Con International that brings together creator Joss Whedon, executive producer Tim Minear and the cast of the short-lived, but much-loved, sci-fi Western.
Fringe will air in syndication on the Science Channel, whose lineup includes Ricky Gervais’ An Idiot Abroad, reruns of Firefly, and the John Noble-narrated Dark Matters.
The fan-favorite television series returns for a run on the Science Channel beginning in March, and star Nathan Fillion offers his thoughts.
The Science Channel is looking to videogames for new inspiration, and hiring the creator of The Sims to create new programming.
