Wednesday sees the start of Comic-Con International — however, if you’re reading this, chances are you already know that. In fact, chances are you’re going, in which case you’ve probably already planned out which panels to attend. Behind all the big-name appearances and panels promoting the latest movies, TV shows and transmedia properties, however, there are some other panels you might’ve missed.
Reports that movie studios are abandoning this year’s San Diego Comic-Con have started to circulate, being met with something between disbelief (“Why would they do that?”) and outright relief (“Finally, maybe next year hotel prices won’t be so ridiculous”) by most parties. But it does raise one important question: Has Hollywood realized that San Diego was always a waste of their time?
With San Diego Comic-Con less than two weeks away, and the schedule for the show finally revealed (as Kevin has already shared with you), this week’s question is a simple one: What are you most looking forward to from the show?
The official schedule hasn’t been released yet, but it’s already possible to start your San Diego Comic-Con planning. Yesterday teased a Joss Whedon/JJ Abrams panel, and now Showtime has announced their “Anti-Heroes” panel.
