Dimension Films has announced an Oct. 4, 2013, release date for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, the sequel from co-directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller.

However, he says he hasn’t yet spoken to Angelina Jolie, who’s long been his first choice to play Ava Lord in the adaptation of Frank Miller’s neo-noir crime comic.
Appearing at South By Southwest, director Robert Rodriguez provided updates on the sequels to Machete and Sin City, as well as his Heavy Metal remake.
