2013 sees at least two movies promising the end of the world (Comedies This Is The End and The World’s End), but also two movies set after the apocalypse (Oblivion and After Earth). It’s a year that has remakes of horror classics (Evil Dead, Carrie), sequels galore (New installments of The Hobbit, The Hunger Games, Kick-Ass, Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs and, of course, GI Joe: Retaliation) and a relaunch for Superman himself with Man of Steel.
